Job summary

Ubico is offering a four-year HGV Vehicle Technician Apprentice program at its Stroud and Gossington depots. Working 40 hours per week, you will train toward a Level 3 qualification while assisting with inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance of HGVs and plant equipment.

Live within 10 miles of the depots and complete pre-employment checks; progression to a permanent Ubico role may be possible after completion of the apprenticeship.

Job description

The HGV Vehicle Technician Apprentice joins Ubico’s Fleet Workshop and Maintenance team, working at its Stroud and Gossington depots. The role combines training with support for inspections, servicing, repairs and maintenance of HGVs, plant and equipment, following compliance and health-and-safety procedures. This is a four-year apprenticeship, working 40 hours a week towards a Level 3 qualification; after successful completion, the apprentice may apply for a permanent Ubico role if one is available. Applicants must live within 10 miles of the recruiting depot and complete pre-employment checks, including medical screening, references, identity and right-to-work checks; criminal-record verification may also apply.
