Pentagon Motor Group is seeking a Transporter Driver in West Hallam. You will be responsible for loading/unloading, paperwork, and safety checks while adhering to all regulations. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 08:30–17:30, with opportunities for training and career progression.

The ideal candidate holds a Class 1 HGV licence with CPC, has at least 1 year of car transport experience, and demonstrates reliability, clear communication, and a detail-focused, right-first-time attitude.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and current CPC qualification.
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in car transportation.
• Reliable team player, able to work with no supervision.
• Confident communicator.
• Self-motivated and well organised.
• Right first time attitude with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading the transporter, ensuring the load is secure and safe.
• Completing relevant paperwork and maintaining records as required.
• Conducting thorough pre/post trip checks.
• Adhering to Highway Traffic regulations at all times.
• Being mindful of and adhering to Health and Safety policies and practices.
• Communicating with managers/colleagues.
