Job summary

Primelink Transport Ltd in Strood, Kent seeks experienced HGV Class 1 tramper drivers for a full-time, 12-month contract. Majority shifts, 6–12 hours, weekly rest, and tramping between UK distribution centres.

No loading or unloading required, strong customer service and safety mindset essential. Salary starts from £47,800 per year, with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, holiday entitlement, and staff facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E license and Driver CPC/DQC and Digi tachograph.
• Minimum of two years LGV Class 1 driving experience on UK roads.
• Good level of spoken English.
• No more than six penalty points on your license and no DD/DR/IN endorsements

Responsibilities

• Shift starts from home location with 6–12 hour shifts and up to 60 hours per week.
• No loading/unloading required; professional customer service and safety focus.

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our company at Strood, Kent working closely with our freight partners.

This is pure trampinging with light weight load, drivers are not required to load/unload.

Truck Driver Job Details:

• Full-time guaranteed work
• Shift start and end at home location
• Shift length 6-12 hours, total duty hours no more than 60 hours per week, bank holidays included
• Majority shift start from Sunday afternoon/evening, night work required, and finish Thursday/Friday
• Full daily and weekly rest, no reduced rest
• Tramping between varied UK distribution centres
• NO loading/unloading required
• Positive and professional manner and value customer service required

Requirements:

Hold a valid C+E license, Driver CPC Card (or DQC Card) and Digi tacho card. Understand and comply with tachograph and drivers hours regulations.
