TIP Group in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a skilled HGV Trailer Mechanic to join our Stoke workshop team. You will perform inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HGV trailers to keep fleets road-ready and safe.

We value hands-on experience and safety-minded professionals. Strong teamwork and a proactive approach are essential, with IRTEC certification desired and Heavy Vehicle Level 3 qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a trailer mechanic, HGV mechanic, fitter, or similar heavy vehicle role.
• IRTEC certification desirable (or working towards).
• Heavy Vehicle Level 3 qualification, or equivalent time-served experience.

Responsabilités

• Carry out inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on HGV trailers.
• Diagnose and repair faults across braking, suspension, electrical, and bodywork systems.
• Keep maintenance and repair work to DVSA/VOSA compliance standards.
• Record work accurately for fleet history.
• Collaborate with the wider team to keep vehicles moving.
