Job summary

Fusion People Ltd. in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic / Technician to inspect, service, diagnose and repair heavy vehicles and trailers, ensuring safety standards and MOT readiness.

The role includes both heavy and light vehicle work, with opportunities to work on cars, vans and trailers, and to contribute to fault finding using diagnostic tools. Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30, with a focus on high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician.
• Knowledge of light vehicles and/or HGV trailers.
• Experience with diagnostics and fault finding.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair HGV trailers.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
• Carry out fault finding and mechanical repairs.
• Support electrical fault diagnosis where required.
