Overview

We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive Transport and Logistics company based in the Manchester area. The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £40,000 with OTE of circa £50,000 and working hours of Monday to Friday with overtime available.

Duties
  • Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
  • Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
  • Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
  • Completion of MOT preparation
Requirements
  • Semi-Trailer or Heavy Vehicle experience
  • Industry-standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs
  • HGV Class 1 driving licence
  • IRTEC accreditation
  • EBS diagnostics experience
  • Welding certification
  • Experience with axle manufacturers
  • Tail lift training and experience
  • Experience with double-deck or lifting deck trailers
