A leading automotive recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HGV Trailer Technician to join a client in the Goole area. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday with a salary up to £36,000, OTE of £38,000. Qualifications

• Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles.
• Industry qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQs) are required.
• IRTEC accreditation is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with EBS diagnostics and welding certification is important.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers.
• Complete Job Sheets and Documentation.
• Liaise with Service Department and Parts Department.
• Complete MOT preparation.

Skills

Experience with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

EBS diagnostics experience

Welding certification

Education

Industry qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQs)

Tools

IRTEC accreditation

Familiarity with axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST)

Overview

We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive transport solutions provider based in the Goole area.

Salary and Hours

The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £36,000 with OTE of circa £38,000 and working hours of Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:30.

Duties

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements

• Experience working with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles.
• Industry qualifications (City & Guilds or NVQs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• IRTEC accreditation. Desirable, but not essential.
• EBS diagnostics experience (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO).
• Welding certification.
• Experience with axle manufacturers (BPW, SAF, JOST).
• Tail lift & double-deck maintenance experience.
