About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HGV/Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Lockerbie. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to work in a great environment, performing a range of mechanical and diagnostic tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on HGVs and trailers
• Perform MOT preparation and inspections
• Conduct fault diagnostics using relevant equipment
• Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
• Attend to vehicle breakdowns occasionally

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HGV or trailer mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant mechanical qualifications (preferred but not essential depending on experience)
