Job summary

Build Recruitment is recruiting an experienced HGV Tractor driver for a long-term project on the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall. The role involves operating a JCB Fastrac tractor, hauling plant, cabins and waste, towing a trailer, and supporting the site team.

11 days on, 3 days off with 10-hour paid days, and flights plus accommodation provided. Requirements include CPCS or NPORS for agricultural tractors and a valid Class 1 HGV license, plus driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy goods vehicle tractors on construction sites.
• Valid HGV Class 1 license and CPCS/NPORS for agricultural tractors.
• NVQ or City & Guilds preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tractor (JCB Fastrac) on site.
• Haul materials, plant, cabins and waste.
• Towing a trailer.
• Assist site team with minor tasks.
• Follow site health and safety rules.
• Work within a construction crew.

Working Hours: 7:30am - 6pm (10 hours paid)

Shift Pattern: 11 days on, 3 days off - Flights and accommodation provided.

Our client is a rapidly growing south west based principle contractor. Theirpresence hasbeen strong in this area for the last 10 years and theywiden their horizons with this bold new project. Delivering several newhomes on theIsles of Scilly, the sunny south coast islands below Penzance, Cornwall.

We are recruiting an experienced tractor driver with a HGV class one ticket. Experience is essential. You will be responsible for all operations of a JCB Fastrac Tractor. You will be hauling plant, cabins, materials andwaste.

Shift patterns will be 11 days on 3 days off.

Travel and accommodation costs will be covered, flights via helicopterwill be arranged for you, and you will have access to a portal to check on this.

The correct tickets are essential for this role.
