Job Description:

Monday to Friday: Day shift, 45 hours per week

This is a permanent, full-time position.

I am working with my client to secure a qualified, highly skilled, and motivated Welder/Fabricator/Coachbuilder for their workshop in the Kent area.

The company is a highly experienced fleet management provider offering commercial vehicle solutions in the municipal sector for many years. They specialise in short and long-term fleet hire solutions with workshops and depots across the UK.

You will work in a positive and vibrant environment where your efforts will be rewarded. Upskilling is available to address skills shortages, but the right attitude and desire to deliver first-class service are essential.

Your responsibilities include fabricating and repairing a diverse fleet of vehicles, including:

  • Chassis repairs
  • Vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Body building and repairs
  • Fabricating predominantly from steel
  • Correcting running defects
  • Chassis and fabrication work
  • TIG and MIG welding
  • Hydraulic work
  • MOT preparation
Requirements:

Ideally, candidates should be fully qualified (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) in welding and/or fabrication. Consideration will also be given to those with significant experience obtained within the automotive industry.
