Job Title: Commercial Vehicle Technician

Location: Warrington

Salary: per hour (paid weekly), plus bonus

Shifts: 4 on 4 off day shift (6am to 6pm)

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on commercial vehicles and trailers, ensuring high standards of reliability and safety.
• Conduct vehicle testing post-repair to confirm roadworthiness and safety compliance.

• Accurately manage all documentation related to warranty, contracts, and retail work.
• Support ad hoc duties as directed by the Shift Supervisor, including attending manufacturer training or assisting colleagues.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• City & Guilds certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience in diagnosis, maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial vehicles.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and diagnostic tools.
• Previous manufacturer training is advantageous.
• Valid UK driving license; HGV license is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Team player with a methodical approach, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
