Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc in Sheffield is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our workshop team. You'll work on a diverse fleet including RCVs, hookloaders, skip loaders and municipal vehicles, performing diagnostics, fault-finding and routine maintenance.

The role offers 40 hours per week, rotating shifts 06:00-14:30 and 13:30-22:00, with a £21.35 hourly rate (£44,400 basic) and a £3,000 joining bonus. We support training and HGV licence development to help you progress.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) required.
• HGV technician/mechanic experience desirable.
• Diagnostics and fault-finding skills essential.
• HGV licence desirable, not essential.

Responsibilities

• Join Veolia's Sheffield workshop and service a diverse fleet including RCVs and municipal vehicles.
• Diagnose faults, perform maintenance and repairs to keep vehicles on the road.
• Contribute to a safe, reliable and efficient fleet across the UK.
