• Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in the repair and servicing of HGVs.

• Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HGV/Trailer safety inspections and MOT preparation.
• Complete tasks timely while maintaining detailed records.

Job Description:

Salary £21 to £23per hour

Shift Pattern-Night shift 7 pm-7am (Monday to Thursday 4 nights)

following week nights 7pm to 7am (Tuesday to Friday 4 nights)

Please note you will need to drive a vehicle to reach the site as there are no buses near to the site !!

• Responsibilities
• Team lead hands on Technician nights
• You will be fully competent in conducting HGV / Trailer safety inspections and MOT preparation to achieve VOSA compliance and have a strong grounding in HGV electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Able to achieve timely completion of tasks and give accurate updates whilst remaining focused and calm under pressure.
• Keeping detailed records of repairs, inspections, and testing.

Requirements

• Have good communication skills and show attention to detail in all aspects of inspection, repair and testing documentation.
