Overview

HGV Technician role with a nationwide fleet management business. Salary £52,534 with overtime available. Nights – 4 on 4 off. Brand new, first-class facility in Aylesford. Company has over 30 years of experience in HGV maintenance and repair for major commercial fleet operators.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a fleet of trucks and trailers for one of the country’s largest supermarkets.
• Contribute to a fast-growing, forward-thinking fleet maintenance team.
• Operate within a new facility and uphold high standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Heavy Goods Maintenance or experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of routine truck and trailer repairs and servicing.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis.
• Experience preparing trailers for MOT testing.
• Own basic tools; larger equipment provided on site.
• Exposure to welding and metalworking elements.
