Job summary

Volvo Trucks is seeking skilled HGV Technicians to join our Ipswich team. You will perform service, maintenance and repairs on Volvo HGVs, diagnose faults with modern equipment, and ensure work meets Volvo standards.

• Fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience with HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment

Up to £20 per hour + overtime @ time and a half

• £2000 signing bonus** (direct applicants only)

Working a rotating shift: Monday to Friday

0600hrs to 1400hrs & 1400hrs to 2200hrs

Alternative Saturday @ time and a half
