Location: Paisley
Shift: Monday – Friday 7am - 4pm or 7.30am to 4.30pm.
Salary: Up to £42,000 + Benefits
About your new company
A leading Builders Merchant with a fleet of HGVs and other vehicles is looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their team. They pride themselves on maintaining a high standard of compliance and efficiency within their transport operations. Due to their ever-expanding team, they are currently looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their depot.
The successful candidate must be a fully qualified and experienced HGV mechanic. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and have experience in vehicle inspection and MOT preparation of vehicles/trailers, fault diagnosis, routine servicing and maintenance, and major component repair and replacement.
About your new HGV Technician role
- Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on all vehicles, trailers, and plant to VOSA standards.
- Diagnosing and rectifying all types of HGV faults.
- Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
- Technical qualification or proven experience repairing & maintaining HGVs.
