Qualifications

HGV Technician


Depot Location: Knighton


Working Hours: (2 weeks) 8am to 5pm, (1 week) 12pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday


Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent role


Financial Package: £18.00ph (Annual equivalent: £42,500) + Overtime


My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on rotating shifts.


Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Carry out repairs highlighted during initial inspections
  2. Perform general servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Update all required paperwork/databases

The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:

  • Hold full industry qualifications and have completed a recognized apprenticeship
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
  • A commercial license would be advantageous but is not essential
