HGV Technician

Location: Edinburgh

Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary: Up to £19 per hour / £44,200 per year

Due to continued business growth, they are now looking to add a night shift HGV Technician to their expert team in Edinburgh

About the HGV Technician Role

As a HGV Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring fleet reliability, safety, and performance. Working with well-known brands including Mercedes, Iveco, and Ford, your day-to-day will include:

  • Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of HGVs and specialist vehicles
  • Conducting safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOT
  • Ensuring all work meets DVSA and manufacturer standards
What we are looking for in the successful HGV Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles
  • Class 1 or Class 2 licence
