Job summary

MAN Truck & Bus is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for our Grangemouth depot on a full-time, permanent basis. Shifts run Monday–Friday, 06:00–14:30 and 13:30–23:00. The role involves working with large commercial vehicles, staying current with technical information, and delivering accurate reports and test results.

A limited time joining bonus of £2,500 applies upon successful probation. We offer a competitive salary, pension, company car scheme, and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Experience with HGVs, ideally in a workshop environment.
• Ability to work as part of a small team and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to learn and keep up with technical information.

Responsibilities

• Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions.
• Attend training and keep abreast of the latest technical information.
• Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including reporting further work or faults.
• Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties accurately, efficiently and timely.
• Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests.
