HGV Technician Glasgow East | ML3 0ED
Would you like to join our experienced team in our Glasgow East depot? Would you like to continue to learn and develop your automotive career? Would our fantastic shift pattern help your work-life balance?
As part of our team at Volvo, you will work a 38-hour week, paying up to £20 per hour with overtime, quarterly bonus, and fantastic earning potential.
Shift Pattern on a rotational basis:
Our Glasgow East site is adding to their team of Technicians - join one of the largest producers of heavy trucks in the world!

Qualifications and skills required:
City and Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance. Ideally, you will have completed an apprenticeship where you have gained experience working on commercial vehicles such as Volvo, Scania, DAF, Mercedes, Iveco, buses, and coaches. IT literate. Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience as a HGV Technician/HGV Mechanic/PSV Mechanic. LGV C + E licence beneficial but not essential. HGV/PSV licence an advantage.

Ready for the next move?
You will be carrying out regular MOT service inspections on a wide range of manufacturers’ trucks. Fault finding, and carrying out repairs on engines, gearboxes, brakes, suspension systems, etc. Completing paperwork such as job cards and service sheets, using Volvo’s in-house systems.
