Job summary

Our client in Droitwich is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team. You will perform preventive maintenance, service and repair custom vehicles to exact specifications.

Key responsibilities include fault finding, technical support to clients and engineering, and strict adherence to H&S standards while documenting all work accurately. A strong team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing and maintaining custom vehicles.
• Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings.
• Good teamwork and communication with the engineering team.
• Familiar with HGV & PSV licence advantageous but not essential.
• Ensure safety and quality documentation compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on all makes of heavy goods vehicles.

HGV Technician

Up to £46,000 Dependant on experience

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of custom heavy machinery and vehicles. They are seeking a HGV Technician to join their growing team. As a HGV Technician, you will carry out PPM, service and repair custom vehicles to the clients exact specifications.

HGV Technician Responsibilities;

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on all makes of heavy goods vehicles
• Fault find and carry out repairs
• Provide technical support to clients and the wider engineering team
• Ensure that H&S standards are adhered to throughout each project
• Ensure that all supporting documentation is completed correctly

HGV Technician Requirements:

• Experienced in repairing and maintaining custom vehicles
• Previous experience using bench hand tools and workshop equipment
• HGV & PSV Licence would be advantageous but not essential
• Must be able to work to detailed engineering drawings
• Must be a team player

Salary: £46000/annum
