Salary up to £21 per hour (dependent upon skill set and experience)

Rotating Shift:

Monday to Friday - 0600hrs to 1400hrs / 1400hrs to 2200hrs

Saturday overtime available 0700hrs to 1300hrs @ time and a half (up to £31.50 per hour!)

We are looking for

We are seeking NVQ level 3 qualified (or similar) HGV Mechanics to join our team of specialists. You should have completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry or have similar experience, including experience in the commercial vehicle industry.

What will you be doing

The Role! Here are some of your responsibilities:

• Performing repairs to a high standard following procedures, safely and responsibly
• Assisting in fault diagnosis
• Servicing customer vehicles and completing service sheets
• Road testing vehicles (if holding an HGV license)
• Assisting with roadside breakdowns
• Accurately processing all relevant paperwork
• Reporting vehicle defects
• Maintaining workshop facilities, equipment, and tools
• Supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
