Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Fully qualified HGV Technician with relevant trade papers.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic capabilities; safety-focused.
• Proactive attitude with customer service emphasis.
• Valid UK driving licence; able to work flexible rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer procedures and standards.
• Assist fault diagnosis and support roadside breakdowns.
• Coordinate with Parts Team and Workshop Controllers for parts and timing.
• Ensure work completes within standard times and uses the correct tools.
• Complete service sheets and warranty documentation accurately.
• Road test vehicles if you hold an HGV licence.
• Support development of trainees and apprentices.
