Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV Technician for a busy commercial vehicle workshop in Faversham. The role covers servicing, diagnostics and repairs, with scope for experienced Level 3 LCV Technicians with a CV background to apply.

You will diagnose faults, perform servicing, and ensure accurate records while upholding high standards of quality and customer service. The position is based in Faversham, working in a 40-hour week across early and late shifts with Saturday mornings on a

Qualifications

City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV or LCV maintenance.
Strong experience working on commercial vehicles.
Sound understanding of vehicle inspections, MOT requirements and workshop procedures.
Ability to diagnose technical problems and explain the repairs needed.
Organised approach and pride in completing work to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on commercial vehicles.
Completing servicing and maintenance work safely and efficiently.
Assessing faults, identifying the work required and providing clear repair recommendations.
Keeping accurate time and job records.
Ensuring completed jobs are fully documented for prompt processing.
Supporting the workshop in maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
