Qualifications

Shift Pattern on rotational basis (Dayshift/Backshift)

Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGVs, or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:

What you will do
  • Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
  • Assist in fault diagnosis
  • Service customer vehicles and complete service sheets
  • Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
  • Assist with roadside breakdowns
  • Process all relevant paperwork accurately
  • Report all vehicle defects
  • Maintain workshop facilities, equipment, and tools
  • Support the development of trainees and apprentices
