Job summary

Volvo Trucks is seeking skilled HGV Technicians to join our Thetford team. You will carry out service, maintenance and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards using modern diagnostic equipment.

A Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and hands-on HGV experience are preferred. We offer a £3,000 signing bonus (net) and a clear development path with world‑class training and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• HGV Licence required or obtained.
• Electrics Level 1 and 2 beneficial.
• E-Mobility Training advantageous for future EV systems.
• Oscilloscope Diagnostics Training preferred.
• Minimum Volvo Bronze Level or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and repair work on Volvo HGVs to high standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards.
• Wear PPE and support trainee development.
