A well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business in Sherburn in Elmet is seeking an HGV Technician for a full-time, permanent role. HGV Technician

Depot Location: Sherburn in Elmet

Working Hours: 4 On 4 Off, 6am to 6pm (Paid 30 min Lunch)

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £20.00 per hour + overtime paid at time and a half
£46,800 Per Annum + Overtime

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a Day shift.

Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Carry out repairs highlighted during initial inspections
  2. General Servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:
  • Hold full industry qualifications and have completed a recognized apprenticeship
  • Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
  • A commercial license is advantageous but not essential
