HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
Depot Location: York
Working Hours: GBP17 to GBP17.50 per hour
Week 1 = 7am - 16.30pm
Week 2 = 11am - 20.30pm (Saturday Morning 7am to 12 midday GBP25ph)
Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role
Financial Package: GBP43,000 to GBP45,000 Per Annum

Job Description:
My client, a well-established business in the HGV industry, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter on a rotating shift.
Working in an established team, you will be required to undertake the following responsibilities:
- Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
- Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
- General servicing and MOT preparation
- Fault finding & diagnostics
- Updating all required paperwork / databases
Minimum Requirements:
The successful HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter will have the following attributes:
- Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship
- Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
- A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but isn't essential
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, maintenance and repair
