• Experience with auxiliary equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics is advantageous.
• Class 1 or Class 2 license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routine inspection & repair of vehicles within our workshop.
• Conduct MOT inspections and repairs.
• Attend breakdowns and diagnose repairs to high standards.

Early: 06.00-15.30 Mon - Fri

You will service and repair various vehicles, including refuse trucks, with specialist training provided as needed. Candidate Requirements:

• Experience as a HGV Technician/Engineer/Mechanic (essential)
• HGV Technical qualification (NVQ or City and Guilds preferred, but experience considered)
• Experience with auxiliary equipment, hydraulics, and pneumatics (advantageous)
• Class 1 or Class 2 license (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills and a team player, able to work independently

Key Duties:

• Routine inspection & repair of vehicles within our workshop
• Work on vehicles from various manufacturers including Mercedes, Dennis Eagle, DAF, Isuzu, and Terberg
• Conduct MOT inspections and repairs
• Attend breakdowns and diagnose repairs to high standards
• Complete compliance paperwork
