Job summary

SUEZ is seeking an HGV Technician to maintain and repair our fleet to high safety and performance standards. You’ll work with a supportive team, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs while ensuring DVSA compliance and accurate maintenance records.

Ideal candidates have an NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, experience with HGVs, and a valid Class 2 licence. DBS will be part of recruitment, and we value independence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV driving licence.
• A Basic DBS check will form part of the recruitment process.

The Role

• As an HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet to the highest safety and performance standards. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you'll carry out:
• Routine servicing, maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnostics and fault finding on HGVs and articulated vehicles.
• Mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ensuring all vehicles remain compliant with DVSA and company standards.
• Accurate completion of job cards and maintenance records.

Our vehicles arrive pre-cleaned and emptied before entering the workshop, allowing you to spend your time doing what you do best- maintaining and repairing vehicles, not cleaning them.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:
