Job description

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Shift times:

• 06:00-14:30
• 10:00-18:30

Shifts will be discussed during the interview stage.

Salary:

Base pay of £20.77 per hour. Premium pay applies for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm and 10pm - 6am.

Responsibilities:

• Perform service and repair of the company fleet according to scheduled maintenance to ensure safety, legality, and readiness for duties.
• Complete signed service and inspection records.
• Prepare defect reports and related paperwork to meet legal requirements.
• Prepare vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first-time pass.
• Perform ad-hoc vehicle repairs, investigate, and rectify defects.

Qualifications:

• Relevant skills and licenses, such as LGV C&E license (Class One).
• Knowledge of automotive equipment and testing/troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy vehicle components.
• Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driving license.
