Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading environmental company, in their search for an HGV Technician to work from their Newtown based facility.

What the successful HGV Technician will receive:

• £14.63 per hour
• Overtime at £19.46 per hour
• Bank holiday rate £29.26 per hour
• Monday - Friday 7.30 AM - 3.30 PM
• Temporary role

The role - HGV Technician:

• Maintaining a fleet of HGVs
• Using the online Fleet Management system to complete and maintain accurate documentation including Vehicle Safety Inspection and service sheets
• Undertaking vehicle diagnosis, identifying faults, errors, and engine management codes, then ordering parts required for satisfactory repairs
• Participating in out-of-hours standby rota and attending call-outs as required
• Road testing of vehicles and planning routes if the appropriate driving license is held

What our client is looking for in an HGV Technician:

• Level 3 QCF in heavy plant or trucks or IRTEC advanced technician - ESSENTIAL
• Cat B driving licence - PREFERRED
• Punctuality
• Previous experience in a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Diagnostics experience
• Ability to work at other sites
