Employment Type: Permanent, On-Site
Salary: £19.29 per hour + enhancement payment (up to £ per month based on qualification level)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, rotating weekly shift pattern of 06:00 - 14:30 / 09:30 - 18:00

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced HGV Technician to join my client's team at a leading commercial vehicle dealership. We are seeking a skilled professional to ensure our customers' vehicles remain operational through high-quality maintenance and repairs.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting service work and repairs with precision and efficiency.
  • Performing visual inspections, fluid changes, and component replacements.
  • Identifying wear and tear issues and recommending necessary repairs.
  • Carrying out assembly and retrofitting work where required.
  • Supporting complex repair jobs alongside specialist technicians.
  • Ensuring vehicles meet manufacturer and safety standards.
  • Maintaining a high standard of customer service and brand representation.

What We're Looking For

  • Full Level 3 City & Guilds HGV qualifications (or equivalent) - Essential
  • UK Driving Licence - Essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a dealership or commercial vehicle environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • A methodical and disciplined approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
