Job Opportunity at Volvo - Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Salary and Benefits:

  • Earn up to £20 per hour (dependent on experience), plus overtime, quarterly bonus, and earning potential.

Shift Pattern: Rotational basis (Dayshift/Backshift)

Qualifications: Hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, with experience working on HGVs or completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs to a high standard following Volvo procedures, ensuring safety and responsibility.
  • Assist in fault diagnosis.
  • Service customer vehicles and complete service sheets.
  • Road test vehicles if holding an HGV license.
  • Assist with roadside breakdowns.
  • Accurately process all relevant job paperwork.
  • Report vehicle defects.
  • Maintain workshop facilities, equipment, and tools.
  • Support the development of trainees and apprentices.
