HGV TECHNICIAN

OTE: £45,000pa - £50,000pa
Basic Salary: £44,200pa

HGV Technician Job Details:

Working Hours:
Week 1 - Monday-Friday - 06:00-14:30
Week 2 - Monday-Thursday - 14:30-23:00, Friday - 14:30-21:00, Saturday Morning 08:00-13:00

Location: Reading

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician:

1. Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
2. Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
3. Diagnosing of vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
4. Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
5. Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician:

1. Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician.
2. HGV licence is an advantage.
