HGV Technician
Up to 21 per hour DOE
Tamworth
Monday to Friday,
47.5 hours per week

We're looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join our busy, workshop-based team in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company, maintaining both our own fleet and vehicles from external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, inspect, repair, and test HGV vehicles and plant equipment to DfT and VOSA standards
  • Prepare and present vehicles for MOT inspections
  • Perform regular safety inspections and fault diagnosis (hydraulic, pneumatic & electrical systems)
  • Carry out welding, fabrication, and body repairs
  • Fit and remove ancillary equipment, accessories, and livery
  • Prepare and decommission vehicles as required
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and update workshop systems
  • Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised
  • Attend relevant training courses as required
  • Carry out any additional duties relevant to the role
