Job summary

A leading prestige HGV/LCV Dealership is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to cover the late shift. The ideal candidate will assist with breakdowns, conduct servicing and repairs, and effectively communicate with customers. Candidates with a passenger car background may also be considered for LCV work, making this a versatile opportunity.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician.
• Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experienced in vehicle diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Our client is a leading prestige HGV/LCV Dealership looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician to join their growing team. Depending on experience, they will consider technicians with a passenger car background for LCV work, as well as experienced HGV technicians.

This role is to cover the late shift, hours will be 13:30 – 22:00

• You will be required to assist with breakdowns, carry out servicing and maintenance repairs.
• Identify and diagnose vehicle faults using a logical and efficient method to ensure first-time fix is achieved.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and service administration.
• Complete all necessary paperwork in line with company guidelines and manufacturer warranty procedures.
• You will be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician.
• Qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experienced in vehicle diagnostics.
• Possess an appropriate driving licence for the class of vehicle.
