Qualifications

  • Qualified technician with Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ.
  • HGV licence is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and ensure compliance with DVSA standards.
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspection and diagnose issues using diagnostic tools.

HGV TECHNICIAN

OTE: £50,000+pa

HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £44,000pa
Working Hours: 45 Hours
Monday-Friday - Flexible Hours (Straight Days)
Location: Scunthorpe

  • Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
  • Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
  • Diagnosing of vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
  • Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Technician
  • Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
  • HGV licence is an advantage
