Job description

HGV Technician with a salary of £60,000+ and 1.5X overtime pay, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

We are partnered with a nationwide fleet management business seeking skilled HGV Technicians for their facility in Thurrock. The company provides HGV maintenance and repair services and is trusted by large commercial fleet operators.

The role focuses on maintaining and repairing a fleet of trucks and trailers for a major supermarket. We are looking for passionate individuals to join this mission and drive the business forward.

The Requirements:

• Qualification in Heavy Goods Maintenance or similar experience
• Strong understanding of routine truck and trailer repairs and servicing
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis
• Experience preparing trailers for MOT testing
• Own basic tools, with larger equipment provided on site
• Exposure to welding and metal working elements

• £60,000+ earnings, including bonus
