This full-time position offers a competitive salary starting from £51,340, with the potential to earn up to £55,000 with overtime. HGV Technician / HGV Fitter

We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Technician / HGV Fitter on behalf of our client, an automotive commercial dealership based in the Portsmouth area.

Salary: Basic from £51,340 per year, with OTE circa £55,000. Overtime is available.

Working Hours: Rotating weekly shift pattern:

4-day week: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, with a 30-minute break
5-day week: Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM

This is a full-time position suitable for experienced HGV technicians. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities include:

Servicing, repair, and maintenance of HGVs
Completion of job sheets and documentation
Liaising with the service and parts departments
Preparation for MOT testing

Requirements:

Previous experience as a HGV Technician / Fitter
Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Excellent mechanical knowledge
A Class 1 Licence may be advantageous
