HGV Technician
Location: Paisley
Shift: Monday – Friday 7am -4pm or 7.30am to 4.30pm.
Salary: Up to £42,000 + Benefits

About your new company

A leading Builders Merchant with a fleet of HGVs and other vehicles is looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their team. They pride themselves on maintaining a high standard of compliance and efficiency within their transport operations. Due to their ever-expanding team, they are currently looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join their depot.

The successful candidate must be a fully qualified and experienced HGV mechanic. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and have experience in Vehicle Inspection and MOT preparation of vehicles/trailers, fault electrical diagnosis, routine servicing and maintenance, and major component repair and replacement.

About your new HGV Technician role

1. Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on all vehicles, trailers and plant to VOSA standards.
2. Diagnosing and rectifying all types of HGV faults.
3. Ensuring health & safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to.
4. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.
5. Technical qualification or proven experience repairing & maintaining HGVs.
