Job description

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Oswestry

Working Hours: 6am to 2.30pm & 1.30pm to 10pm

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role (40 hours per week)

Financial Package: £19.21ph (Annual equivalent: £43,570) + Overtime

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on rotating shifts.

Working as part of an established team of HGV Technicians, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Carrying out repairs highlighted during inspections
  2. General servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork/databases

The ideal HGV Technician will possess:

  • Full industry qualifications and completion of a recognized apprenticeship
  • Detailed knowledge of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
  • A commercial license is advantageous but not essential
