HGV Technician
Location: Northampton
Salary: Up to £42,000 + MOT bonus
Shift: 4on 4off Days
Overtime: Paid at an enhanced rate

About the Company
Join a reputable HGV Maintenance company with locations across the UK. Known for their high standards, regular training, and clear career progression paths, they are expanding their team and seeking a talented HGV Technician to support their growing success.

Key Responsibilities:
As part of a team of experienced HGV Technicians, you will work on a variety of commercial vehicles. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Conducting vehicle inspections
  2. Performing routine servicing and scheduled maintenance
  3. Carrying out reactive maintenance as required
  4. Preparing and presenting vehicles for MOT testing
  5. Diagnosing and rectifying running defects
  6. Undertaking general HGV Technician duties

Requirements:
  1. Comprehensive knowledge of HGVs and trailers.
  2. Industry-recognized qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
  3. Previous experience as an HGV Technician
  4. HGV Licence (preferred but not essential)
