Job summary

An independent vehicle service provider in North Walsham is seeking a skilled technician to perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and welding on HGVs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. This full-time role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with Saturday hours on an ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on HGVs or similar vehicles.
• Confident in welding and fabrication work.
• Able to get on with things independently but happy to be part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service and maintenance on HGVs and other commercial vehicles.
• Conduct fault finding and diagnostics (including electrical).
• Carry out welding and fabrication tasks.

Hours

Monday to Friday

7:30am to 5:00pm

Saturday Mornings on Adhoc Basis. Job and Finish.

Duties

Routine service and maintenance on HGVs and other commercial vehicles

Fault finding and diagnostics (including electrical)

Welding and fabrication

Requirements

Previous experience working on HGVs or similar vehicles

Confident in welding and fabrication work

Able to get on with things independently but happy to be part of a team
