Job description

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician on behalf of our Client, an Automotive dealership based in the Newport area.

The successful HGV Fitter can expect a salary of up to £40000 with OTE of circa £42000 with working hours of 4 on 4 off shift pattern: 6:00am to 6:00pm.

• Starting hourly rate of £20 per hour plus bonuses and overtime.
• Overtime, subject to availability, paid at time and a half.

Typical Duties

• Servicing, repair and Maintenance of HGVs
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation

Requirements

• Previous working experience within the role
• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• A Class 1 Licence may be beneficial to your application
