Job description

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Middlewich

Working Hours: 6am to 6pm

Shifts available: Friday to Sunday

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £21.17ph £40,000 Per Annum (Plus Overtime)

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer dealer, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a weekend day shift.

Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
  2. Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  3. General Servicing and MOT preparation
  4. Fault finding & diagnostics
  5. Updating all required paperwork / databases

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  2. Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
  3. A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but isn't essential
  4. Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair
