Dennis Eagle UK is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to service, diagnose and repair a range of heavy vehicles in our workshop and at customer sites. You will help maintain safety, quality and reliability across fleets through planned servicing and proactive diagnostics.
The role requires NVQ3/City & Guilds 3 in Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance, substantial HGV experience, and strong fault-finding skills, with a focus on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Location: Merthyr, CF48 4DR
Hours: 45 hours per week | between 06:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday
Salary: between £41,294.53 - £43,393.54 pa DOE
We're looking for a skilled technician to join our Aftermarket team, maintaining and repairing refuse collection vehicles and specialist equipment that provide essential front-line services across the UK. You'll play a key role in helping customers keep their fleets safe, compliant and operational. Whether you're currently working on HGVs, buses, coaches, plant machinery or other heavy vehicles, this is an opportunity to build on your experience and develop your technical skills within a specialist vehicle environment.
As an HGV Technician, you'll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of specialist vehicles, working both in our workshop and at customer sites. You'll help ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of safety, quality and reliability.
