Job description

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Manchester

Working Hours: 09:30 am to 06:30 am, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £52,700 to £55,000 per annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician to join their experienced team.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Carrying out repairs highlighted during initial inspections
  2. General servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding and diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork and databases

The successful HGV Technician will possess:

  1. Full industry qualifications and completion of a recognized apprenticeship
  2. Detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer maintenance
  3. A commercial license is advantageous but not essential
  4. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, maintenance, and repair
