Job summary

A recruitment services company is seeking a Workshop Technician in Llanelli to service and maintain Council fleet vehicles. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle engineering and will be responsible for various mechanical duties. The position offers £16 per hour with full-time hours from Monday to Friday. This contract may extend up to January 2026.

Overview

Carmarthenshire (Llanelli) - Workshop Technician

Location: Trostre Depot, Llanelli.

Salary: £16 per hour.

Full Time – 8am - 4pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am -3.30pm Friday.

Contract: Up to January 2026 – Possible Extension.

Responsibilities

HGV Technician responsible for carrying out servicing, inspections, repairing, diagnosing & maintaining Council fleet vehicles, including the hydraulics & electrical equipment for specialised vehicle bodies.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in light or heavy motor vehicle engineering.
