HGV Technician

Depot Location: Haydock

Working Hours: 4 On 4 Off 6pm to 6am Nights (Paid 30 min Lunch)

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £22.60ph + overtime paid at time and a half
£48,000 TO £50,000 Per Annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a Night shift.

Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following:

  1. Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
  2. General Servicing and MOT preparation
  3. Fault finding & diagnostics
  4. Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes:

  1. Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
  2. Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance.
  3. A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage, but isn't essential.
